• Features: IIC hearing aids are usually fitted with a removal line to help with insertion and removal. Some IIC hearing aids have noise cleaning technology to help with speech information in noisy environments. 
• Battery: IIC hearing aids have small batteries that need to be changed more often than those in larger hearing aids. 
• Challenges: The small size of IIC hearing aids can be challenging for wearers with dexterity issues, and they cannot accommodate manual volume or memory controls.
